Why don't I have a wifi direct icon on my HTC Desire 500?

No Wi-Fi direct icon on HTC Desire 500

I want to connect my TV and Android phone through Wi-Fi direct but when I find my phone on TV device it asks for the password and on my phone I see no option for setting up a password. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

When you go in to your Wi-FI settings and go in the Advanced setting do you see the info there?
