Why don't my Bluetooth work after upgrade Nexus 5 to Android 5?

Bluetooth doesnt work after upgrade Nexus 5 to Android 5

Hi...
I have a Nexus 5.
After upgrading to Android version 5, Bluetooth pairs but I do not hear the call on the bluetooth car kit speakers.
I tried to Reset the phone,
I tried to delete the phone from car kit and delete the car kit from the phone,
and pair again from scratch... still the same problem.
I tried to reset the car stereo by disconnecting the car's battery.
Other phones work with this Bluetooth car kit.
My Nexus 5 works with other Bluetooth car kits.
Before upgrading to Android 5, everything worked perfectly...

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Bluetooth, tap the gear icon next to the car kit, and make sure Phone Audio is checked on.

When you said you reset the phone, do you mean a factory reset, or just a soft reboot?

Try wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data. The process can take up to 5-10 minutes on a Nexus 5. http://forums.androidcentral.com/nexus-5-rooting-roms-hacks/352008-guide-nexus-5-recovery.html

I wiped the cache now, following the guide.
Unfortunately, I still have the same problem.

Factory reset is one other thing to try - but you will lose data, so you should backup first

Is this a Honda? Mine is having issues with Honda. Got a call while streaming music. After that, music would not longer auto pair with the car system. Phone calls worked fine and I could open Play Music and start a song. Tried deleting and adding back the phone, forgetting the pair, unticking and reticking the music option, clearing both the bluetooth sharing data and cache. Nothing worked. Deleted the phone again yesterday and added it back and suddenly it is working properly again.

I think Lollipop might be causing various Bluetooth compatibility issues with car interfaces. I recently noticed that my Nexus 5's phone book no longer downloads to my 2008 BMW 535i's system. It used to sync the entire phonebook, but now it's just blank. I also notice that the Bluetooth icon shows a dot to the left and right of the main icon whenever it's connected to the car now--not sure if that means there's some kind of incomplete connection. I can make and receive calls just fine--just no phonebook.

Bluetooth doesn't appear to work with Nexus 9 after the Lollipop upgrade either. My headphones pair and when I attempt to make a Skype or Hangout call, it disconnects. Some users have suggested that I disable Google Now always on, and this also does not appear to make a difference. This is clearly a Lollipop issue.

Lollipop messed up Bluetooth for many people. There are several topics on the google product forum. We'll just have to wait for google to fix this.
