Why Google used the name "Nexus"!

So, I may just love my cheesy 80's movies, but does anyone else think of the "Nexus of Sominus" when they hear the name "nexus one"? I cant help but think of the Dark Overlord from Howard the Duck (1986). Perhaps google is aware of a planet that actually exists called the "Nexus of Sominus". I know I'm lame, but I love that movie!

Too bad you're in chicago! We could have a sweet 80's movie night! I'll bring commando and Robot Jox too! (Even though Jox is 1990, I think it qualifies)
