Why has Google play services has stopped ?

Google play service has stopped working.

Try Settings, Apps, swipe to All, scroll to Google Play Services, select Clear Cache, and Power Off and Restart the phone.
Get back to us if no go.

I have done the steps and clear data. Still not working. It continue to prompt the same message after 2 minutes. Together with another message "com.Google.process.gapps" has stopped.
My play store and a few other apps are totally not working.
