Why has my calendar stopped working properly?

why has my calendar stopped working properly?

I have a galaxy s5 and just recently events i add to the calendar on the phone disappear moments after adding them.Events added from my desktop(google calendar) still show on both pc and phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Which account are those events on the phone being added to? Are you sure it's your Google Calendar, and not a local Phone account calendar?
