Why has my samsung s7 edge screen spontaneously cracked?

Need help asap.
Going on holiday in a few hours and cant make the store as i fly before it opens. Basically i purchased my phone (s7 edge) on Monday and today (Saturday) a hairline crack at the side of my phone has appeared... i have not dropped the phone or had any incident with it as i have been treating it like a baby, when i come home from holiday i will be outside my 14day window to return or complain... what do i do

Well, you'll be outside the 14 day window so it's likely the carrier company won't honor it. There's several factors that could have caused it, but basically you either have someone take care of the claims for you, or go on holiday with the phone and just suck it up along with the repair costs. I wouldn't know if it would be possible for you to get rebooked or how imperative it is for you to get on your early flight, so I don't know if taking a later flight is an option for you. It's really bad timing though.

Doubt its in the millions. Hundreds or maybe even a few thousand.

Sorry to hear. Hopefully insurance covers it otherwise it's in the $250-300 range to replace the glass and screen on the S7 Edge (you can't replace just the glass). Just a FYI, inspite of insurance - you still have to cover a deductible of about $150-175.
