Why hasn't my LG Optimus L90 gotten the update to Lollipop?

LG Optimus L90 update

My LG Optimus L90 has yet to update to the new Lollipop, yet my boyfriend phone updated a week ago. I've tried update via computer, deleted all my apps nothing is working

Welcome to Android Central! What carrier are you on? Did you get the phone directly from the carrier? Updates are often dependent on the carrier, so if your carrier doesn't have the update ready but your boyfriend's carrier does, that could explain the discrepancy.
