why have my security settings changed since I did the google update on my samsung galaxy s6 phone?

since the update on my Samsung galaxy s6 phone, I am prompted to swipe to open my phone, when before, I had fingerprint security. Now I cant get the fingerprint settings to change it from the swipe!!!!
