Why have some text messages grouped themselves

I bought my wife a new S6 and restore a backup from her old S2.

It imported messages succesfully, but some of the message have grouped. The messages and the contacts they are associated with are not related. The messages were not sent as group messages nor are the contacts grouped in any other way.

Any help of reversing this and ungrouping.
