Why would you bother sending an update for a stupid movie program no one uses (watch)
when we are waiting for ICS ?

I have no actual proof this is right... but the guys at the T-Mobile store I have been going to for over 7 years told me that ICS has been confirmed for the Amaze and should be pushed out sometime in the next month. These guys have never mislead me.

Because different teams are probably working on Watch then the ICS update. And there's the carriers to factor into the development, testing, release of such a big update, Watch probably comes straight from HTC.

Don't be naive. The ICS update for existing models is non-trivial. It'll be done when it's done.

So far it's been confirmed to be getting the update but no time frame for the Amaze yet.
