I was subscribe unlimited postpaid internet with 4G LTE but it was always in 3G mode. Sometimes I got 4G internet but it was only a second and it turns back to 3G. When I want it turn 4G internet I need to turn on air plane mode then turn off back it will 4G mode but only for around 5 minutes. I try to search a method on YouTube and google but the results was the same.

Here the step that I use:
1. Go to phone call
2. Dial *#*#6130#*#*
3. Click phone information
4. Choose the sim slot that we use
5. Look for preferred network type

I already do this steps but theres no option that I can click on it.

btw sorry for my english.

It just means the phone isn't receiving 4G signals in your location.

Unfortunately no buddy. When I still had the LTE only option I could locked the 4G signal without any problem. But now that they remove every way to force LTE only on my phone, I've exactly the same problem in a certain location, which suck. LTE only made my life much more better.

The guy is saying that he's receiving 4G, but for no reason his phone is switching to 3G which is annoying.

Actually that depends on a lot of things. Not all phones have a 4G only option. For example, stock Samsung phones don't. It just 3G/4G.

The phone on turning on will try the fastest connection possible which is 4G. But when it starts to detect multiple signals, it will choose whichever has better signal strength and more stable, regardless of whether something faster is available or not.

In an area where 3G signal is stronger than 4G, the phone will default to 3G.
