Why i cant login my email to sync after a hard reset in galaxy j7?

i forgot my pattern and so i hard reset my galaxy j7.
after that when the phone turned on it required my previously used email for sync. but i am unable to log in.
password is correct...

Welcome to Android Central! I believe that's a feature of Samsung's Knox, which is meant to prevent unauthorized factory resets to bypass a screen lock. If you're certain you're entering your correct Google credentials, then try temporarily turning off 2-step authentication for your Google account (if it's turned on).
