RAM beyond 4GB on a phone IMO is overrated. 6GB is awesome. 8GB is great but not enough reason to even consider the Note 8 if that's your only basis. If I have a 4GB phone, then I can change to the Note 8, and that's the only reason I'm looking at it, I'll decide it's a waste of money If that will be my sole reason.

The Pixels run fine on 4GB RAM. My S9 runs fine on 4GB RAM. I've never had issues with my S7 Edge on 4GB RAM. Of course I live outside the US so I don't have troubles with carrier bloat (the only bloat my carrier packs is the splash animation, then there's a folder of links on the homescreen taking you to the Google Play pages of their apps. You can delete the links of course.).

i know but the 8GB ram and 512GB rom is tempting.but ill wait for S10 Plus or whatever Plus as it is coming soon.

as for bloatware i use package disabler so it doesnt really matter but yeah.
