I keep seeing complaints about the fact that the nexus s is from Samsung. However, this might be for the best, and here's why. This is based on the assumption google knows more than we do about android.
There have been a bunch of very high end phones "announced" lately, from the motorola t2, to the nexus s, to several htc phones. It would not surprise me at all if at least a few of these phones were "bids" at the flagship google phone. If this is true, then google chose the nexus s for a reason, whatever that might be. This is where the "google knows android better than we do" assumption comes into play.
Interested in hearing other thoughts on this. I don't think google would just assign a manufacturer to build thier top titer device without a set of"tryouts", would they? If it had been just adb assignment like that, I would have thought htc or motorola for it.
Sent from my phone. Ignore the typos.
