So much excitement, all around,
People post here and there, "Look what we've found!"
Why, over at MyDroidWorld they got a peak,
Of the new 2.2; they say its a leak.
So off we all go, leaving 2.1 behind,
For better pastures that we're sure we'll find.
"Sure its a bit difficult to install,
But in the end, you'll thank us all."
And so with a bit of time and a lot of frustration,
I put my phone through much tribulation.
Through reboots and restarts, and a tad of anger,
I flashed that new 2.2, couldn't wait any longer.
My heart pounder and whirled from here to there,
While the stupid droid eye, spun with mocking flair.
"Its taking too long!" I shouted with tepidation,
For my droid seemed stuck, without motivation.
At last my home screen did abound,
But slower, and jerky, could I thumb around.
The menus I did peruse with so much excitment,
Only to be force closed, to great disappointment.
"Oh well," I sighed,
Maybe Flash will make the move justified.
To the internet during school, I did run,
Just to find my battery not up to the fun!
Through build.props and quandrants, I worked that machine,
To find just what had made me so keen,
To leave my well tuned 2.1,
At the first sound of the race's gun.
So here I am, back today,
With the an OS that's more than just ok.
Overclocked and undervolted is the name of my game,
Twelve hours to a charge? My phone will put that to shame.
So what if I cant text with my voice?
At least the speed dial is still MY choice.
And maybe my quadrant is a bit of a drag,
But videos I see fine, without any lag.
And so we've arrived, of course there's a moral,
Its don't always follow whatever is on the portal.
Your phone can be great with a bit of time,
Like themeing, and rooting- my phone is mine!
