Why is audio only coming from my device speakers and not the car speakers when I play music through AUX cables (Droid Turbo)?

Droid Turbo AUX Problem

I have a DROID Turbo and when I try to play music through an AUX cable, music only comes from the device speakers and not the car speakers. But this problem is very inconsistent. My friend has Monster brand AUX cables it the phones plays PERFECTLY with those as well as another friend whose AUX cables keeps connecting and disconnecting from. This is also strange because the phone has no problem whatsoever playing through headphones. I have tested about 10 pairs and all work normally. Also something worth mentioning is I have never dropped the phone, I have tested everything WITHOUT a case, and the AUX cables mentioned above all work with other devices, just not mine. Thanks.

Sounds like a flaky jack in the phone. Time for a visit to the carrier for a repair or replace job. (With your cable, so they can make sure the fix works.)
