why is Cell standby so high?

cell standby 37% (time w/o signal 0%)
screen 34%
android OS 14%...
and so forth...

just wondering why it's so high? coming from Razr MAxx....never saw this before...?

thanks....just thinking if the cell standby was lower my battery would even be better...no?

He has a Razr Maxx which is Motorola and Cell Standby is standard on all Android phones. The battery percentage is also typical (too bad you can't disable it on a tablet with data-only service though...).

More than likely it is due to a weak signal.

Its mainly a bug affecting international phones.

But id also believe its due to poor signal.
