Why is Engadget website so slow to load on Android?

Engadget.com is one of the websites that I frequently visit. I have tested many browsers on my S7 Edge running Android N over Wi-Fi, as well as my HTC 10 device. I also tested things out on Chrome on a LG G6 device. All these phones take over 10 to 14 seconds to load the Engadget website. On an iPhone 7 Plus device, the same website takes about 3 to 4 seconds to load. Even an iPhone 6 I tested loaded it in 3 to 4 seconds. The only browser I found on Android that loads Engadget about as quickly as an iPhone is Puffin. Is there something seriously wrong with this website, or is Javascript performance on Android that much worse?
