Why is going on with my S5 ringer?

s5 ringer problem

i have a s5, through verizon. about 3 months old, recently downloaded lollipop, but i'm sure this has done this since i got......when someone calls me (iv'e callled myself to see what it sounds on their end) the phone rings like a home phone/landline..(rings...silence.....rings...silence...rings) doesn't matter if it's one of verizon's ringtones or a song i download (kinda defeats the point of a song) on top of that on their end, they hear a ring..it doesn't start mine...it goes to voicemail before I can ever pickup.
I have messed with the phone as much as I dare.

Welcome to Android Central! Try wiping the cache partition: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10404. If that doesn't help, then bring it to your local Verizon store and see if they can do anything for you.
