So i have an Oppo Find X2 Pro and the battery life is pretty good. But lately i noticed that google chrome is responsible for draining about 50% of my battery everyday but i barely use it. Than i found out i can't delete chrome? So i began testing to close the app full and i checked in my battery app and it is still draining in the background? Anybody else have the same problem?

On my device it's same usage high , the more your in it the more it goes higher, I've tried everything in the book to contain it but same .

The funny thing is that chrome uses less than Samsung Internet on my Galaxy and I have ended up moving to chrome. Different phones must use it differently.

Yes already tried everything. To me it is just weird that u can't even uninstall the app. And really weird it uses battery (a lot) when fully closed. It's like chrome is continue synchonizing things or something so i tried to turned some of the synchronizing off but it still drains.

Do you get the option to disable Chrome? That could work if you don't use it.
