Why is it stuck on formatting data?

[Android Central Question]

I own a Huawei Ascend Y530, I have tried to turn it on because its been flat for awhile, and it turns on, shows the huawei logo, then it shows the android robot which says " Formatting Data. " I tried to take the battery out and try it again but there's no change.
Please Help.

Welcome to Android Central! How long does it stay on that screen? If it remains indefinitely, then there's a good chance the motherboard has failed.
