Why is it taking so long for photo to open up after taking a picture?

I have a Note 2. When I take a photo it's taking about 10 seconds now for the photo to open up. I cleared data and cache in Gallery. So annoying.

Are the photos being saved to the SD card or Internal Storage? If it's the card, then the card might be corrupt or failing. Try a different card.

Photos are being saved to internal storage, not SD card.
