Why is my android tablet not compatible with the latest whatsapp update?

I tried nearly everything:
-third party app stores.
-downloading it from the website(which leads back to my play store app)

Whatsapp notifies me to update it in 5 days, but play store can't install the update.

Older devices (phones and tablets) sometimes just can't run newer versions of apps. It's a bad decision on the part of the developer, to not allow a reduced-function app to run on an older device, because they're losing customers, but there's nothing you can do other than emailing them (android@support.whatsapp.com) and asking if they can keep supporting older devices with a reduced-function version of the latest app.
