I mistakenly took the bait and "updated" my Galaxy S7 on Sept 27, 2018 and now my battery drains a percentage about every thirty seconds with use. When it is idle it appears to drain a percent every 2 minutes.
I would like to know if Samsung is aware of this situation as I am sure it is a problem for many other users. Also, if they are working to fix whatever vampire that was leaked into our phones? I see this new chatbot thing that wasn't there before that is advertising on my phone. There is no way to remove it. I wonder if that could be the issue?
