Why is my battery draining fast?

my battery is draining fast; all of a sudden, had this phone over a year

read on here about the wakelock but the kit kat thing won't let it run; is there any other app for the samsung note3???

I had that problem and it was because I installed a bunch of "cleaner" apps on my phone like Clean Master and Battery Doctor. They are HUGE battery suckers. My battery is back up to normal since deleting them.
