Battery draining so fast (HTC One)

I recently bought the HTC One dual sim. The phone is pretty nice according to what I need/use (normally social media) but the battery draining on the phone is making he hate it.

It went from 90% to 30% in 3 hours, I have power saver on all time, with screen-on the full 3 hours. I normally use either wifi or data, not both, set my brightness to auto and time-out to auto too. (no clue how that works though)

I downloaded the snapdragon app, as some said it's a nice battery saver app, first day it worked, then I tried contacting HTC through live chat and they gave me the steps of re-calibrating my battery, and now the draining is even worse.
I would normally go from 90% to 30% in 6 hours.

I did update the phone to kitkat 4.4.3 but didn't update to lolipop because alot said it heats/drains even faster.

Re: Battery draining so fast (HTC One)

Welcome to Android Central! Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).
