Why is my battery draining so fast

I have an HTC ONE M9, I normally charge it over night and by morning it is always at 100%.It barely lasts for three hours,What might be the problem?Should i consider replacing it with a new one or how can i modify it to last at least a day?

Turning down your screen brightness helps some and uninstall apps you dont need running in the background

Turn off gps and Bluetooth as well
