battery draining

ok so i got an galaxy s4 and since few days my battery is draining ...i had no problems till now ..nothing changed with apps or anything. few months ago my original charger did not stay plugged (it was "moving" hard to keep it still) and i changed it with another(everything was perfect). few days ago this new charger was not charging my phone anymore( it was plugged in the phone recognized it but the battery level was the same). i tried lifting up the "usb thing" from phone and still doesn't work ( the original charger fits better now)...i also did a factory reset just in case ....can anyone help ? thanx..turned phone back on from 100% to 86% ..

Welcome to the forums! Can you post a screen shot of the battery stats page (system settings > battery)? Also, do you notice anything running unusually high that normally shouldn't be running?

i didnt notice anything thats why i factory reseted it and wiped cache ...i tought it would have solved it ..(last night i used juice defender and put it on advenced otiopn, also had power saving on....only 10% went off battery ...as soon as i started using phone the battery went crazy again)

Re: battery draining

If it's a brand new phone, it will take a few charge/discharge cycles for the battery to break-in for max charge.

Looking at your battery status, it seems screen brightness is your prime suspect. Swipe down on the status bar, uncheck Auto, and set the brightness as dim as tolerable. You can find this and a great many other tricks at the link below.
