AC Question

This problem just popped up a couple of days ago, and I've had no issues with battery otherwise. I have a Samsung Note 7, and occasionally, out of nowhere, my battery will just tank. From 20% to 15% in literally 24 seconds. All I was doing at the time was surfing the web, too. No videos or games open. Any clues to why this may be happening?

Welcome to Android Central! I assume you mean an S7 (or S7 edge?). It'd be helpful to see some battery stats. Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

Did you take a look at the standard samsung apps which are active and running all the time...? If I buy a samsung mobile, I always shut down those apps directly.. I have the S7 now for 2 days and battery is amazing

Can you give some more detail? I've had the S7 for a week and my battery life sucks, less than 12 hours and I'm not doing that much with it.

Mine it too! Whats the deal!
I was using a Note 3 before same apps. So, its not the apps that is making it drain.
I don't use a lot of apps.
