Why is my battery life draining so much during phone idle after an update?

I am using Samsung j7 max and my battery has been fine until the recent update. I did a software update on my mobile last month and since then I have experienced more battery drain when idle. The issue is getting worse day by day . I tried factory reset numerous time .. I also dis a cache wipe and it has not helped. Yesterday I charged my mobile and left it idle for 3 hours and 5% had drained. When i checked the battery usage it showed Android Os and Android system had consumed my battery . What can I do ? Please provide solution .

How good is the phone signal strength where you are at?
Does turning off the GPS system help?

Yeah i read that it's often due to bad signal strength so I removed my SIM card and kept it idle even then I noticed battery drain .. when I check the battery usage with the sim in and in idle it shodd the cell standby has drained only 1% but the Android Os and Android system has drained more.. and yeah i always turn my location service off.. i am totally clueless as to what is happening ☹
