Why is my cell phone battery draining much faster all of a sudden?

It started 5 days ago. E-mails stopped showing up on the phone, they did before. Also the battery is draining much faster. LG Tribune phone and very seldom used.

What do your battery usage stats indicate after a day's use?
Also, have you tried a Power Off and Restart of the phone?
