Why is my Galaxy s plus [GT-i9001] is stuck on Cmod logo spinning

I flashed Cmod 11.0 from xda forums. I formatted the device, installed the rom, and then installed the Gapps. I rebooted the phone but its stuck on the spinning cyanogen logo
Please help
