Why is my Galaxy S6 charging slowly and dying fast

Just got the brand new galaxy s6. Suffice it to say it died in about 5 hours and has only produced a 15% charge in the last 75 minutes. What is the deal?

Just got + problem = have the phone replaced. Don't waste time on a non-working new phone.
