Why is my Galaxy S6 redirected to the Google Play Store?

Gday, just recently my samsung galaxy s6 has been redirecting me to the google play store. Each time i attempt to visit a website through a google search it will ask me to install the application associated with the website rather than take me to the website.
Any help would be appreciated, cheers

Does this happen to all your web sites or just one in particular? Certain web sites try and push you to their app because they haven't set their site with a mobile format. Usually there is a link that says something like "continue to desktop web site" or something like that.

Just had the same issue. Reset the settings and it fixed the issue. On your phone go to: settings>internet>advanced>Content settings>reset settings.
