Why is my Galaxy S7 unable to access home wi-fi?

[Android Central Question]

Phone is a Galaxy S7. Following a system update, I am no longer able to remain connected to wi-fi at home. The phone recognizes the network, connects, but then immediately disconnects. No other devices in the home have experienced the same problem and are working fine. I've attempted successfully to access other wi-fi networks from my phone (at a store down the street) and that worked well. The problem appears to be with home network only (which, of course, is where I spend 95% of my time). Have contacted AT&T but they say it's a Samsung issue.

If that doesn't help, try rebooting your router by unplugging its power for about 30 seconds.
