Why is my home screen ok, but as soon as i open any app, everything turns upside down??

[Android Central Question]

I keep my phone in my back pocket all day at work. Today when i got off and unlocked my phone, all my apps were upside down!! My home screen is in place until i click an app then 180 degrees.... Im assuming theres some type of gyroscope in the phone...
Any suggestions??

There is. Is auto rotate on and you're holding it upside down or sideways?
