Why is my htc one m9 locked?!

Hi

Switched my phone on this morning to be presented with a menu saying Locked and listed 5 options. REBOOT, Reboot to bootloader, boot to download mode, boot to recovery mode and power down. I have no idea what has happened. I haven't been trying to modify any software just using like normal. Any suggestions?

your phone seems have went into recovery, did you install an update recently?
