why is my jvc not compatible on most apps

Android 4.4.2 is pretty old, a lot of apps have likely dropped support for that version. If you look up the app on the Play Store using play.google.com on your computer, the app will show you what OS version the app will support. Some will say "varies by device" so it may not be clear if the app supports your device or OS version.
