Why is my keyboard not connecting?

[Android Central Question]

My dad recently bought me a new Onn 11.6' tablet. It cane with a keyboard so I can type easier since the screen is so big. It worked fine for a couple of hours but it recently stopped responding. (not connecting when plugged in) Hope I don't have to make him return it!!!

So your using a external keyboard, it doesn't recognize it , try simple reboot?

Just my own quirk but I'd would find having to use a USB keyboard with a tablet kind of annoying. Much prefer using a Bluetooth keyboard.
