Why is my LG G3's battery draining rapidly?

I got an LG G3 back in late August and all the way leading up to late September I always got amazing better life. I've always been a heavy user on my phones, and my G3 would hold up for about 8 to 10 hours. I would charge it to 100% before going to sleep, unplug it, and wake up with 97%-99% battery left. Now however, if I do this at night I'll wake up with my phone *completely dead.* Also, I usually leave for class at 9am and by 2pm, I have to shut my phone off because (even without using it at all) the battery somehow has already hit ~10%.

I'm lost as to what to do to fix this. I already have done several factory resets (which helps for all of a week or two), Verizon sent me a new G3 in early October (which also remedied the problem for all of a week, if that). Can anyone help me solve this?

EDIT: Gekko, I installed that a few hours ago. I heard that android system should only be around <10% but mine is always around 17% or so. Idk what to do... help?

Oh, and I've already done all the stuff about airplane mode, shutting off data/wifi, and to no avail it doesn't help.

Try putting it on air plane mode or shut off data. I think background apps are polling your data and that could be the factors which drains your battery. Check battery usage. Usually that'll show you which application drains the most. If not it's your battery and you might need a new one or bring the phone back to the store for warranty coverage

I apologize for the delay in response. Can you provide a screenshot of the battery graph along with the usage details? Have you tried turning GPS off as well? Lastly, please try putting your device in safe mode and let us know if the issue persist. ^DT
