Why is my LG G4 wrecked?

just last night my lg g4 was charging and i unlocked my phone to check somethings then it started to lag out (does it often when i use youtube or even snapchat) and the screen turned black, rooboted and then turned black again, wont come back on. Tried using a new battery. Ive seen this problem a lot on reddit.
