Why is my network not working

[Android Central Question]

I bought a note 9 phone second hand... worked fine then out of no where my network stopped working... data, texts and calls not working. Checked into number.. not blacklisted, tried to put the original sim carrier in and still not working. Anyone had this problem?

Welcome to Android Central! Did you get your own SIM, or did you use the same one the seller was using? If the latter, then the seller probably stopped paying for the service -- I doubt he intended to continue paying for service for you after selling the phone to you.

If you're using your own SIM in the phone, then as mentioned above, it would be helpful to know which carrier you're on, and also the exact model number of the phone (in Settings>About Phone​).
