Android Central Question

I recently reset my setting and now everytime I turn off my screen I get a notification sound and its driving me crazy. I've gone onto sound setting and the screen lock is turned off, so why is it still doing it?

Is the setting for making a sound when locking phone on? Have you turned it off?

I think that's what they meant by this: "I've gone onto sound setting and the screen lock is turned off"

But hopefully the OP will register and let us know?:-\

Yes, I've gone onto sounds a vibrations, more sound settings and lock screen is off. But when I lock the phone it notifies me that I've done so still.
I have a huawei p20 emui10

I also get a notification sound when I pull down the banner from the top of the screen to access WiFi, bluetoof, etc.

Is this part of the normal os? I'm still on 9, and sound on the pull down is not an option for me. Have you cleared the cache partition (if present) and rebooted?

Hi, the same think happenden to me with Google Pixel 4a. Switch off all notifications the RESTART your phone.

Is there now answer to this, my P30 Pro has done this for 6 months now and I really can't stand it....
