Why is my phone not letting me reset itself.

I went to my settings on my Samsung Galaxy s5 and tried to encrypt my phone and while it was encrypting I took the battery out because I didn't know if I wanted to and my phone is showing a padlock unlocking with circles moving around it and it'll stop and say "unable to start up your phone. Your encryption process was enterupted. You need to reset your phone to factory default settings. This will erase all of your data." And it's showing a button that says "reset phone" but it's not letting me click it and it's just going back to the padlock. What do I do?
