Why is my phone not turning on

[Android Central Question]

My phone went flat at a mates house. Plugged it in and didn’t take notice until I got home to see my s6 was on the Samsung screen after the powered by android screen with the blue light staying on and pulsating. I left it all night on charge and still won’t turn on. I have tried the usual lock and volume down button, it restarts but goes back to the Samsung screen. What is wrong please help

Turn it off, then try charging it for 6-8 hours.

If it still doesn't work, since you can't replace the battery, it will have to go into a repair shop.
