Why is my phone not turning on?

[Android Central Question]

I own a Samsung galaxy s7 edge, I bought it in Summer of 2016, it had been working fine until a few days back, when I tried to show a picture to my friend the phone crashed and had a line across of the top of the screen, the phone turned off, and for the first boot the Samsung logo lit up, but after that the phone has been completely dead. I have tried almost everything to get any indication of life from the phone but to no avail.

I tried connecting it to PC, charging it, Hard, Soft reset, booting it into safe mode,

Welcome to Android Central! Leave it plugged into a wall outlet overnight, then press and hold Power for 20 seconds. If nothing happens, then you'll have to either bring it to a repair shop, or look into getting a new phone.
