Why is my phone shutting down? Galaxy s3 f

Maybe about three weeks ago my phone restarted three times in a row. After that I've been having problems sending, reviving messages and calling out. 2 days ago my phone has been shutting down. When my phone is on it goes to the box that asks you if you want to restart shut down or airplane mode, then it would just shut down. If turn it on then it will stay on for a little. I changed the batter yesterday to see if that was the reason and also have used different chargers. This is my 3rd galaxy s3 and I'm very disappointed, that things like this keep happening.

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Safe Mode: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10248. If it persists in Safe Mode, then I would suspect something wrong with either the firmware or the hardware. Power buttons can become faulty, so that's a possible cause.

You could also try reinstalling the firmware using Samsung Kies.

Verizon GSIII. Similar problem, looping shutting down repeatedly. Started about the same time, maybe three weeks ago. It seems to get hot in the back center just prior. Removed the silicone case. Stays on longer if its plugged in musb/usb to my pc. I retraced every step and process surrounding the issue. Removed apps. Removed sd card. Removed battery. Booted in safe mode. Backed up in Kies. Checked firmware, current. Scouring the net for solutions. Vz retail store are clowns, interested only in selling new sets. I've a legacy plan w/unlimited. They hate me. Lol.
Please AC gurus, flex your superpowers and help us or direct us.

Yes. As soon as it began the reboot it shut down again.

Q: Problem seems to have begun after moving apps to new SY 128GB SDcard. Thinking it might be relevant, so removed SDcard. Still showing 4 apps on SD card however?? How to move them back to internal drive? I assumed the cache partition had something to do with that?
