Why is my phone turning off and on by itself every two minutes?

Why is my phone turning off and on by itself every two minutes.

I had my Samsung Note 3 for a little over a year. Yesterday morning as I was heading to work, it started to turn off and back on by itself every two minutes. I dont know what could be causing this, butI cant use my phone because it shuts off every two minutes. I thought it was the power button stuck, but when I take the battery out, it DOESNT turn itself back on. I put another battery in my phone, but it still does it. I dont know if this will help but my time changed on my phone. Its just a random time and changed to pm. Also the phone gets hot when on the charger. I also unmounted my sd card and tried safe mode. Didnt work. Can anyone please help me???

Hello, welcome to the forums! Take a look at your battery stats and check if there's an app using an unusual high percentage. You could also try disabling location services, Bluetooth and sync processes and see if there's a difference.

In your date & time settings set a manual time zone.

If you find something unusual post the screenshots here and we'll try to help you.
