Why is my phone unlocked itself

I have a Redmi note6 pro and when I press the power button to see the time only my phone is unlocked though my phone means to unlock only by pattern or fingers touch but today it's open by its own only why it is so?

If I had to guess...it is probably Smart Lock that is automatically unlocking your phone.

Smart Lock is a feature that was added to Android a couple of years ago.

Smart Lock is typically associated with either a specific location, like your home , or associated with a specific Bluetooth device like your car or a smart watch

To turn it off, you need to go to Settings and search for Smart Lock, and simply find any options that are set, and turn them off.
