Why is my RAM usage so high?

I just bought a brand new Samsung Galaxy S6 a few days back. It's always at 70-80% of RAM usage, even on reboot it's at 80% the last time I checked. Any solutions? :/

Welcome to Android Central! What are you using to check the RAM usage? If you're using a RAM "booster/cleaner" app, those apps often take up a big chunk of RAM themselves. I always check RAM usage in the Settings>Apps>Running​ menu.
